Element TV Review

Finding a television offering a great picture in a variety of sizes from 19’’ all the way to 40’’ while not breaking the bank is precisely the mission of Element. With a collection of LCDs, LEDs, and Smart TVs, Element successfully exists at the intersection of low cost and high quality.
With all their TVs offering 720p resolution, the question to be answered is exactly how big would you like your Element and how much are you willing to pay. If you are looking for the 19’’ model, you can pay as low as $64! The Smart TV’s price is only $180 – these televisions are certified refurbished on Amazon.
Brand new Elements can be found at places like Costco, and even there the prices are quite affordable as well. The 4K series is their top of the line, while the Full HD ELFW series are smaller sized and more modestly priced.
Naturally, Element is leading with their low prices, but any consumer must ask – how well does the TV work?
Many people note they use Element TVs in the bedroom or in rooms not using the television primarily, such as the living room. This makes sense when you consider Element’s price point and how for what you’re paying, this is an excellent television. The picture quality is quite good but not excellent and the sound quality is also good, but not excellent. With HDMIs, optical inputs, and a light frame, these televisions are the perfect option as the non-main television of the house.
Element 4k Ultra Series
When you are looking for a Smart TV with the ability to work with Roku or Fire, the Element 4K Ultra series has sets designed specifically for these services such as the Element 50″ 4K UHD TV -E4SW5017RKU with Roku already integrated. The best part is the picture is incredibly vibrant. With a display of 2160p, this Element TV will show a brilliant picture and has loads of different options for inputs and sound. There are 3 HDMI inputs along with an optical out and RCA inputs as well. Furthermore, the TV can be connected to WiFi, so you can stream your Netflix and other services directly to the TV and cut out having to use the annoying cords from your computer.
The limitations of this series are that you get what you pay for, so if you’re looking for this to be your main TV, Element 4k’s have a tendency to wear out. Though it’s an LED smart TV, if you’re willing to invest a little more in a brand that’s more well-known, you will end up with a bit of a better experience. That said, the Element 4k Ultra series is perfect for someone looking to test the waters with the Smart TV experience.
Element Full HDTV
The ELFW series is the basic version of the Element TVs. What they lack in terms of the Smart TV functionality they also strip down to basic functions. For example, on the 24’’ model there is only one HDMI port and the resolution is 1366 x 768. This is still a great television to watch, however, there is a drop off from the 4k Ultra series, as is to be expected. What you lose in terms of features are made up for in terms of price. These TVs are incredibly affordable for their price point. In fact, if you’re looking to put a TV in a guest room or bedroom, you’d be hard-pressed to do better than this series from Element when looking for value.
There are some drawbacks, and like the 4k Ultra series, these TVs will not stand up well to constant use. Element TVs are value models, so you need to be judicious with their use. Also, there are customers who report that the sound on these TVs sounds a bit off like it’s coming out of a tube. Again, these TVs are the value price.

Conclusion

Element televisions are perfect for people who are looking for a good tv at a great price. If you are a college student or someone who doesn’t have the money to spend on a high-end TV, then the Element is perfect for you. However, if you’re looking to have this TV as your main entertainment source, you may want to consider another brand, as the reliability of Element doesn’t receive the rave reviews in the way the price points do.
