The picture is not as clear as one might expect from full HD. In addition, I have reason to think the components used may be below average. To explain, after about 18 months, we experienced a complete blackout but the sound remained. We could turn off the device and/or unplug it and the picture would return, but only for varying periods from a second to seven or eight minutes. We called support and were advised to change the HDMI cable, which we did, using the very best one we could find (Monster equivalent from Costco). There was no improvement. We moved the device to another room and miraculously it worked as it should for a further maybe nine to twelve months. As of yesterday it is behaving just a it did at first failure-blackout with sound; turn off the device and picture returns for a brief period. The official customer service phone number is disconnected. The company that services their other products is still in business but they decline to support televisions.
